Sheboygan Grabs Win in Manitowoc
In what was one of the better games played between the two teams, the Sheboygan A's narrowly defeated the Manitowoc Bandits by a score of 6-5 at Municipal Field on Tuesday night. The Bandits opened the scoring in the bottom of the first when Kyle Schroeder homered to right field with Nat Richter on second. The A's would tie the game and then go ahead when Tim Patzman hit a two run homer over the right field fence.
The Bandits would take the lead when Max Stepan launched a bases loaded double off the center field fence but the lead would not hold as the A's would score single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to take a lead they would not relinquish. Chris Krepline returned to action for the Bandits by pitching the final two innings in relief of Greg Herr who took the loss.
The Bandits are off on Wednesday before hosting the Little Chute River Bandits at Municipal Field on Thursday night. Tickets, Beer, Soda and Hot Dogs are each a buck on Thursday night.
