Edgewood College to Supply Two Bandits

Two Edgewood College Eagles will be wearing the Green & Black this summer as Brandon Bartels, Manitowoc and Miles Mayer, Grafton suit up this summer.  Bartels returns the Bandits for the 2010 summer season after being called up at the end of the Legion season last year.    Bartels batted .333 at the end of the season last year, going 2/6 with a double and 2 RBIs.  He also pitched six innings, dropping his debut to the Kenosha Kings.  Miles Mayer joins the club for the first time and will make the short drive up from Grafton, just north of Milwaukee to play for the Bandits.  Mayer recorded 21 strikeouts in 17 innings during his freshman year at Edgewood College and coach Brisack is looking for him to be a strong member of the Eagles pitching staff this spring.  Edgewood begins play this weekend as it travels to the MetroDome in Minneapolis to start the season.  You can follow Edgewood College this spring by clicking here.
