Bandits Fall Short to Sheboygan Again
In another close matchup, the Sheboygan A's once again tripped up the Manitowoc Bandits, this time by a score of 4-2. The A's apparently have the Bandits number this summer after the Bandits have won the series over the last few years. Jayme Sukowaty took the loss on the mound, going six innings and allowing four earned runs. Brock Wetenkamp and Sam Spurney each had a pair of hits for the Bandits who fall to 21-14 on the season. The Bandits threatened in the ninth when the put the winning runs on base but the A's ended the game by getting Brad Liermann to hit a flyball to centerfield.
The Bandits continue their road trip by travelling to Green Bay today and then Little Chute on Wednesday before hosting Crestwood(IL) on Saturday.
