Bandits Drop Four Close Ones on Saturday & Sunday

The Bandits made the four-hour road trip to Eau Claire to take on the Eau Claire Cavaliers for a four game weekend series.  Saturday saw the Bandits lose both contests by narrow margins.  Eau Claire won the opener, 2-1, then the nightcap, 2-0, in a doubleheader sweep of the Manitowoc Bandits.  The Bandits and Eau Claire play the final two games of the series on Sunday morning beginning at 10am as the Cavs have to vacate the ballpark for a Northwoods League game in the the afternoon.  Sunday's results were more of the same as the Bandits dropped the opener 4-0 and then lost the second game 3-2 on a walkoff homer by Eau Claire.
