Bandits 2012 Season Comes to a Close
The Bandits wrapped up their 2012 season, dropping a makeup game to the Sheboygan A's by a score of 11-1. The Bandits, who replaced 75% of their lineup, were unable to get the bats going as Andrew Doring collected the only hit in the contest, a sixth inning double. Doring would also pick up the loss as he tossed five innings. The team finished the season at the bottom of both the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. Roster issues and team depth will be the focus of upcoming offseason meetings. Overall, the season still provided the area with some outstanding baseball as both the WSL and NEWBL continue to put out top quality players at the collegiate and post-collegiate level, many with aspirations of professional baseball.
